Since the arrival of GPT-4 Turbo and its 128k context window, ChatGPT’s ability to retain much more context, for a longer period, has increased significantly. When I first built a chat app with ChatGPT using the 4k context window GPT-4, it went relatively smoothly with only minor incidents of veering off context. I tried a similar problem six months ago with the same disappointing result; it seems Gemini has not improved in this area. Unlike Gemini, ChatGPT does not have an official list of supported languages. However, it can handle not only the popular languages that Gemini supports but also dozens of additional languages, from newer languages like TypeScript and Go to older ones like Fortran, Pascal, and BASIC. In addition, there are privacy concerns that come along with using ChatGPT or Google Gemini, which collect personal information much like search engines do.

Encourage Gemini to provide creative, unusual, or inventive ideas for additional variety in the responses. A classic Google search requires you to enter a natural language query or keywords, follow links, review content and then compile the results or repeat the process with a refined search. If Google follows the current trend for AI chatbot pricing it will be between $10 and $20 per month. Many of the generative AI tools like ElevenLabs, StabilityAI and MidJourney have plans at a similar point. That potential has already led to the passage of rules designed to police the use of AI in Europe, and spurred similar efforts in the U.S. and other countries.

Human workers at companies like Appen often handle many of the more distasteful parts of training AI and are often the lower-paid, often ignored backbone of the entire industry. A Google spokesperson confirmed the existence of the Pichai email and the accuracy of the excerpts quoted in the Semafor piece.
